Visual Coding Lab（Android アプリ・iOS アプリ・Web 版を含み、以下「本サービス」）における、 利用者の情報の取り扱いについて説明します。

1. アカウントを作りません

本サービスには会員登録・ログインの仕組みがありません。氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、 生年月日など、個人を特定する情報をこちらから求めることはありません。

2. 学習データは端末の中だけに保存されます

書いたコード、実行の記録、進捗、表示言語などの設定は、端末内のストレージ（localStorage）にのみ 保存され、開発者のサーバーには送信されません。コードの実行（Python・C 言語を含む）も端末の中で行われます。 アプリのデータを消去するか、アプリをアンインストールすると、これらのデータはすべて削除されます。 ただし、次の「Web 版のクラス参加」を自分で行った場合に限り、その範囲の情報が先生に送られます。

Web 版のクラス参加（任意）

Web 版では、先生から受け取ったクラスコードを「学習ログ」画面で入力すると、そのクラスに参加できます。 参加した場合に限り、次の情報が Google Cloud Firestore に保存され、そのクラスを作った先生だけが見られます。

• ランダムに作られた端末の識別番号（氏名などとは結び付いていません）
• 入力した場合は、クラス名簿上の番号（No.）
• レッスンごとの、できたかどうか・実行した回数・エラーの回数・最後に実行した日時

氏名や、書いたコードそのものは送信されません。「クラスをやめる」を押すと送信は止まり、 先生がクラスを締め切るか削除した場合も送信されなくなります。保存された記録は、先生がクラスまたはその記録を 削除すると消えます。クラスコードを入力しない限り、何も送信されません。 App Store・Google Play のアプリ版にはこの機能はありません。

3. 教材の取得について

教材データは Google Cloud Firestore および本サービスの配信サーバーから読み込むだけです。 教材への書き込みはサーバー側の設定で禁止されています。教材を取得する際に、利用者の学習内容が送られることはありません。 （Firestore へ書き込むのは、上記の Web 版のクラス参加を自分で行った場合だけです。）

4. 広告と第三者のサービス

本サービスは以下のサービスを利用しており、これらの提供者が独自に情報を取得する場合があります。

• Google AdMob（アプリ版の広告配信）
  広告の表示のため、広告 ID（Android の広告 ID／iOS の IDFA）、IP アドレス、端末の種類や OS などの情報が Google により取得・利用されます。これにより、利用者の興味に基づいた広告が表示される場合があります。 欧州経済領域など同意が必要な地域では、広告を表示する前に同意を確認する画面を表示します。 広告 ID は端末の設定からリセットまたは削除でき、パーソナライズ広告は Google の広告設定 から無効にできます。
• Google AdSense（Web 版の広告配信）
  広告の表示のために Cookie が使われ、過去のアクセス情報に基づいた広告が表示される場合があります。
• Firebase Hosting・Cloud Firestore（配信基盤）
  教材やページを配信する際、IP アドレスやブラウザの種類といった一般的なアクセス情報が Google により記録されます。
• Google フォーム（任意のアンケート）
  「このアプリについて」からアンケートに回答した場合に限り、回答内容が Google フォームに送信されます。回答は任意です。

Google による情報の取り扱いは Google のパートナーサイトでのデータ使用 および Google プライバシーポリシー をご確認ください。本サービス自体はアクセス解析ツールを使用しておらず、上記以外の第三者へ情報を提供・販売することはありません。

5. 教室用サーバーで使う場合

学校などで Raspberry Pi 等の教室用サーバーから本サービスを使う場合、教師用パスコードの確認や学習記録の共有は その教室用サーバーとの間でのみ行われ、インターネット上の開発者のサーバーには送信されません。 教室用サーバーに送られるのは、端末の識別番号・入力した場合はクラス（例：11A）と名簿上の番号・学習記録（書いたコードを含む）で、 氏名は送られません。 なお、App Store・Google Play で配布しているアプリ版には教師用の機能は含まれておらず、学習者向けの画面のみです。

6. 対象年齢

Google Play で配布しているアプリ版は、13 歳以上の方を対象としています。 13 歳未満の子どもから意図して個人情報を取得することはありません。

7. 本ポリシーの変更

内容を変更する場合は、このページを更新し、最終更新日を改めます。

This policy explains how Visual Coding Lab (the Android app, the iOS app and the web version; the "Service") handles information about its users.

1. No accounts

The Service has no sign-up or login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth or any other information that identifies you.

2. Your learning data stays on your device

The code you write, run history, progress and settings such as display language are stored only on your device (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers. Code (including Python and C) also runs on your device. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app deletes all of this data. The only exception is when you choose to join a class on the web version, described next.

Joining a class on the web version (optional)

On the web version, you can join a class by typing the class code your teacher gives you on the Logs page. Only if you join is the following stored in Google Cloud Firestore, where only the teacher who created the class can see it:

• a randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your name or anything else about you)
• your number on the class list (No.), if you typed one
• for each lesson: whether you finished it, how many times you ran it, how many errors, and when you last ran it

Your name and the code you wrote are never sent. Pressing "Leave class" stops sending, and so does the teacher closing or deleting the class. The stored records are removed when the teacher deletes the class or your records. Nothing is sent unless you type a class code. The App Store and Google Play apps do not have this feature.

3. Downloading lessons

Lesson content is only read from Google Cloud Firestore and our hosting server. Writing lessons is denied by server-side rules, and nothing about your learning is sent when lessons are downloaded. (The only writes to Firestore are those of a class you chose to join on the web version, above.)

4. Advertising and third-party services

The Service uses the following services, whose providers may collect information on their own.

• Google AdMob (ads in the mobile apps)
  To show ads, Google collects and uses the advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA), IP address, and device information such as device type and OS, and may show ads based on your interests. In regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area, a consent screen is shown before any ad. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings, and turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings.
• Google AdSense (ads on the web version)
  Cookies are used to show ads, which may be based on your previous visits.
• Firebase Hosting and Cloud Firestore (delivery)
  When pages and lessons are delivered, Google records standard access information such as IP address and browser type.
• Google Forms (optional survey)
  Only if you choose to answer the survey linked from the About page are your answers sent to Google Forms.

See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. The Service itself uses no analytics tools and does not share or sell information to anyone other than the services above.

5. Classroom servers

The app distributed on the App Store and Google Play contains no teacher functionality; it is the student experience only. When the Service is used from a classroom server such as a Raspberry Pi, teacher passcode checks and shared learning records are exchanged only with that classroom server, never with our servers on the internet. What reaches the classroom server is the device identifier, your class (such as 11A) and number on the class list if you typed them, and your learning records (including the code you wrote) — never your name.

6. Age

The app distributed on Google Play is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page will be updated along with the "Last updated" date.
